Do you want a cohesive look and feeling for your new home? Having a comprehensive design plan at the beginning of the project will guarantee design success!
The fee indicated above is a starting design fee and is determined by several factors: house size, number of rooms, number of design selections required, etc.. Upon reviewing your project scope, a fee can be determined.
Building a new home is an investment in your life. It is hard work, there are innumerable decisions to make besides who your builder will be and what plan you will build. That is just the beginning.
This service is created to take all those design hassles out of the new construction process.
Collaborating with us, your decisions will be edited and selected for you depending on your functional requirements and style preferences. Think about all of the decision fatigue that would be eliminated for you.
Fee noted above is design fee only and is non-refundable.   HST tax and any credit card processing fees are additional.
*We also provide project management services > We are available to work directly with contractors and subs for meetings at our hourly project management rate.
This construction design package includes:
*Complete architectural plan review. We'll review your plans from the perspective of how you will actually live in the home, where furniture might go, and how it will function.
*We provide the needed selections for the main floor and second floor up to three bedrooms and two bathrooms, including: flooring recommendations, paint colours, interior door and baseboard/door trim details, decorative hardware, one concept for kitchen design, exterior home paint colours, roof shingle colour, brick colour, exterior door recommendations.
*Barbara Nyke Interiors & Design to procure all needed design products and selections.
*Presentation of all finishes to insure the cohesive style of the entire home.
*Option to buy any other Design Package as an add-on at a preferred price, ie: Decorating Package: this package recommends best furniture layout options, custom millwork design, decorating concepts, etc.., Bathroom Design, etc..
